Scope of Appointment

Employers Agent, contract administration, and full cost consultancy services were
comprehensively delivered to support the refurbishment of Comic Relief’s head office,
transforming the space into a more functional, engaging, and futurefocused working
environment. The project encompassed works across two floors of a busy multilet building,
requiring meticulous planning, stakeholder coordination, and a thoughtful approach to
maintaining operational continuity throughout the programme.
Central to the scheme was the creation of a new accommodation stair, seamlessly linking
the two tenanted floors and fostering improved connectivity and collaboration between
teams. The project also introduced a refreshed reception area designed to enhance first
impressions, along with new breakout zones and dedicated editing facilities to better support
Comic Relief’s creative output. These improvements were complemented by a reimagined

openplan office layout, offering a bright, flexible, and efficient workspace tailored to evolving
organisational needs.
